We named this peony after one of my all-time favorite songs, “Adia” by Sarah McLachlan. The lyrics have such deep emotion throughout the entire song but we relate to “We are born innocent, Believe me Adia, we are still innocent, It’s easy we all falter, Does it matter?” There are so many interpretations of this song but for us it just means love.

The coral charm peony is an all around favorite bloom. When the vibrant colors fade, a few of the petals become transparent.

The carnation and the peony are an unlikely pair, like leather and lace..

Our friend Alex was married in Mexico years ago. We did the flowers for the wedding, which included beautiful lavender roses.

Ashley fell head over heels in love with this dainty little flower the last time she was in Sydney.  They shined and shimmered and danced-continuously showing off and entertaining Ashley's eyes.

In Frida’s own painting of The Tree of Hope, she shows herself on a hospital bed with her back cut open—she is hopeful that yet another surgery will heal her and the pain she feels. We often use flowers to heal us.

Ashley has fully immersed herself into her new hometown of Jacksonville, Florida.  She is letting the sun shine in on her and her flowers as she plays with different graphics and colors.

We were walking down the street in Savannah when we spotted these gorgeous little creatures, Lady Banks roses. The light makes all the difference in this image and seeing the hint of the rose at the bottom makes the flowers feel as if they are from ages ago.

Have you ever seen anything more beautiful than a bearded iris?  I have probably written the same words about a different flower, but right now I am in love with the bearded iris.  I wanted to keep the composition simple and clean so I could showcase the beauty of each blossom.

Purple anemones—goodness we love you. Purple is one of our least favorite colors unless you are a flower, then you are a very favorite.
