Ashley created this wallpaper in memory of her grandmother, Toody Fay Byrd.  The mockingbird is both for the BYRD's and for the state bird of Texas.  The Florida Blue snake is a nod to Ashley's new home of Florida.  

Toody Fay Byrd always taught Ashley to be strong and smart and to use her voice to tell incredible stories from the life she has led.  Fay is a collaboration with artist Rachel Gori, who drew the beautiful snake and the bird.

We named this peony after one of my all-time favorite songs, “Adia” by Sarah McLachlan. The lyrics have such deep emotion throughout the entire song but we relate to “We are born innocent, Believe me Adia, we are still innocent, It’s easy we all falter, Does it matter?” There are so many interpretations of this song but for us it just means love.

Dutch Love is our very first love. We put the flowers together at our friend Ginny Branch’s studio and we knew she was something special.

I grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas. I grew up on the beach in Port Aransas, Texas.

We wanted to test the waters and push for something new. We spray painted poppies metallic gold with the thought of Frida painting thorns and roots and veins.

Freedom reminds us of carefree creativity. The word can mean many different things and we are extremely grateful for creative freedom.

Fringe

On our second trip to Australia we had the pleasure of traveling to Melbourne and meeting incredible friends. We taught through The School at Establishment Studio and simply fell in love with the light, the props and the people.
