Shades of Pale
I first went to Sydney in December of 2014. The first moment I stepped off the plane I knew I was in love with Australia and Australians. Some say Australia is a giant Texas-I think this is true.
I have never felt more welcome anywhere. Australia is a place where you go to escape, to feel free. It is the most special of continents filled with so many people I love. I have been lucky enough to return many times share time with them, as well as the wildlife.
So many wonderful people are raising money and awareness of what is happening with the wildfires in Australia. If you don’t follow Celeste Barber, please do. She is bring so much awareness. It is devastating to sit so far away from all of this and feel helpless. The only thing I know to do is help to raise money to help. I have chosen to donate 100% of the proceeds from the sale of Shades of Pale, a waratah I photographed on my last trip to Sydney, to WIRES. Please help if you can. Over half a billion wildlife have died in this tragedy, most likely wiping out some species all together. Let’s help save these animals the the humans that are working around the clock for them.
100% of proceeds of this exclusive print will go to benefit the Australian Wildfires
