Sophia is named after the wonderful woman who creates all of the stunning wallpaper patterns, Sophia Holmes. Ashley met Sophia on her first trip to Sydney, Australia. Ashley was there teaching a class and had created a repeat pattern, showing it to the class as possible wallpaper. Sophia approached Ashley after the class and said "Can I talk to you about your wallpaper? It is awful." It was a basically love at first sight for Ashley and Sophia has been the wizard behind all patterns ever since. The camellias used to create this pattern were taken from Ashley’s next door neighbor (with her permission) in Florida.

We named this peony after one of my all-time favorite songs, “Adia” by Sarah McLachlan. The lyrics have such deep emotion throughout the entire song but we relate to “We are born innocent, Believe me Adia, we are still innocent, It’s easy we all falter, Does it matter?” There are so many interpretations of this song but for us it just means love.
Into the Mystic
"We were born before the windAlso younger than the sunEre the bonnie boat was wonAs we sailed into the mystic Hark, now hear the sailors crySmell the sea and feel the skyLet your soul and spirit flyInto the mystic And when that fog horn blowsI will be coming home, mmm mmmAnd when the fog horn blowsI want to hear itI don't have to fear it I wanna rock your gypsy soulJust like way back in the days of oldThen magnificently we will floatInto the mystic" -Van Morrison..
